A highly experienced Project Manager with a Mechanical Engineering degree from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture at the University of Zagreb. He first worked as a site Engineer for Enikon Zagreb and later moved on to become the Project Manager for the company’s projects in Croatia and Tanzania.

After twenty solid years in employment, he decided to venture into entrepreneurship and registered a company called BQ Contractors Limited, a company that has grown into a firm that delivers quality service at international standards. Currently, he manages 45 permanent employees and over 100 others on contract basis. He is a recognized professional engineer and an active member of various institutions including the Institution of Engineers, Tanzania. He is a former member of Contractors Registration Board having served between 2006 and 2012.

Eng. Lorenco Simon is the uptime Project Controller overseeing daily implementation of various projects. Now glowing with the new responsibility of Personal Assistant to the MD, Lorenco is the department coordinator connecting his core responsibility with four year experience as ICT Engineer.
Over the years as a trainee, Lorenco has demonstrated record of success in tender documentation. He is an architect in problem solving and a key figure in the BQ Corporate structure. He is the main contact in systems operations, project monitoring and staff management. Lorenco is responsible for providing leadership in departmental set up. He must identify, develop and maintain the company growth strategy analyzing present trends, medium growth, and long-term requirements.

Twenty eight year old Stephen holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Public Administration from University of Dodoma (Udom). He is currently the Administrative and Human Resource Officer at BQ Contracors Limited. Through internal program of transfer of technology from foreign experts, he has acquired knowledge in operation and mantainance of natural gas pipeline. He was also a member of a technical team that successfully completed construction of a 7.6 kilometer natural gas distribution pipeline from CNG Ubungo to TPDC Mikocheni and connection for industrial and domestic use. Stephen has enormous field experience in technical services and store management. He has worked alongside a research team assessing cultural practices in land tenure system and land security during cultural system at four corners (4ccp) at Haydom –Manyara. He is an independent individual and advocates for teamwork and highly inspired to drive his colleagues towards achieving the company goals and objectives.
